While I am still offering Reiki distance healing and online sound baths I am also very pleased to announce that I am now seeing clients once more in person. Please rest assured that everyone’s safety remains my priority and so I would be grateful if you could read the policy below before booking a treatment:
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible: during the last year I have completed a COVID-19 Awareness course and I have since made a number of changes in line with the government guidelines which you will notice when you next visit.
If I feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and not work. This may mean that I may have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled, you will be able to re-book again or ask for a full refund.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise me as soon as possible and DO NOT COME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. I have amended my booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness.
Before your appointment I will need to you to complete a consultation form either electronically or via the phone. After reading this policy document which will inform you how the treatment will be conducted, I will ask you to answer the Covid 19 section as accurately as possible and then give your consent to my new way of working. Any failure to agree to, or follow these guidelines may result in the treatment being terminated.
Visiting my business
I will contact you the day of your appointment to check you are feeling well, and have not been in contact with anyone with Covid 19 symptoms. For your safety and to maintain social distancing, I ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible.
There will be a hand sanitiser available for you to use as you come in and when you leave the building. There will also be a hand sanitiser in the treatment room and I will require you to sanitise your hands before the treatment begins.
When you arrive for your treatment I will require you to wear a facemask (which I can provide) and disposable gloves will be available if you wish to wear them during the treatment.
I will be wearing a facemask, visor and apron during the treatment. I will wash and sanitise my hands directly before and after the treatment.
I understand the importance of hand hygiene and I will ensure that I wash my hands in accordance with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.
I have increased the frequency of cleaning within my treatment room and bathroom, making sure that all common surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.
All equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety. I can confirm that the laundering of towels and uniforms is a priority and I can assure you that all laundry is washed at 60°C. All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between each client.
I have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and am confident that I can continue to provide these safely.
In order to avoid handling of cash, I would prefer if you could pay for your treatment in advance using bank transfer. My bank details will be made available to you once the consultation form has been returned.
I will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let me know and I will do what I can to assist you.
All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine, and I ask you to answer my Covid 19 consultation form fairly and accurately and to adhere to the guidelines now in place. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
